RCG has scheduled a massive "Town Meeting"
phone call for every member so we can all get on the phone and chat about
the changes to the board.
I can not be sure that every member has read the threads that deal with the
issues, and there may be some that don’t even know about the subscription
idea. So in order to assure that everyone (even guest accounts) get a chance to
voice their opinions I have scheduled a large conference call Tonight at 10:00pm
EST. You can call in and be connected to all the other members and moderators
and we can discuss anything and answer questions.
I will have KT Ordnance (Rick) on the line so he can give us all an update on
how he is coming along in Montana. Also Brian Blakley will be available to
answer any questions about the programming and enhancements to the new forum
software. I will also be on the line to help any way I can and to give you a
chance to scream at me about the changes (sorry folks I hate doing it as much as
you do).
To ensure that everyone gets a chance to see the message I will take the
boards offline at Midnight Monday and in its place I will put up a big
ole’ message that says basically “Town meeting tonight” please call in at
10:00pm EST….that way everyone will see the message even if they do not
normally read the general forum or the messages forum. Don’t think we are gone
or offline, I just want to make sure everyone sees the message. It will also
allow the programmers the time needed to make the changes. The board will be
back online at midnight tomorrow.
All you need to do if you want to join us in the town meeting is call the phone
number I post and input the “pin” number to connect to the rest of us
online. Everyone will be connected via a huge conference call so we can all chat
back and forth (it doesn’t cost you anything this one is on me and Mrs Ryan),
should be a lot of fun and we will finally get to put a voice with those names
(cool huh?). Here is a tip…… If you have a cell phone that allows unlimited
weekends and nights you can use it to call in and the call doesn’t cost you
anything. We have a 1 hour block of time reserved for the town meeting and you
can call and join in at any time between 10-11pm tomorrow night.
You can voice your opinions, objections or whatever else you have to say and not
wear out your fingers typing, so please take advantage of this service. I would
love to have a solution pop-up in the call that would make everyone happy. (my
goal) so please pencil us in for 1 hour tomorrow night (nothing good on TV
anyways hahaha). No-body can say that I haven’t tried…….I really want
everyone to be happy with the changes and I hope you understand.

Remember 10:00pm EST that would be 7:00pm PST hope to see (hear) you there. The
phone number will not become active until 10:00pm EST so no sense calling too
early.
The transcripts will be recorded for later posting so you can go back after the meeting is over and find out what happened from the beginning (if you are late getting into the meeting).
